CS4

Despite the year being referred to as CS4 it was the third year. the 4 reflects that I did a placement year in industry.
The 4 modules for this year were:

IDDIS

Issues in the Design and Development of Interactive Systems, All about HCI including looking into the works of Jakob Nielsen and intelligent systems.

CNPA

Computer Networks Principals Applications, Most of this was theory on how networks work on the low low level such as the order of 1's and 0's and how the hardware uses them. Like the IDDIS there was a large coursework.

PLDI

Programming Languages Design and Implementation, This was less about programming and more about compilers and how languages worked. It also involved looking at how languages have evolved. Again there was a nice coursework element to this course.

Final Year Project

This was my final year project that I worked on all year. Fortunately this is the one thing I have lots of notes for.
